The Velbon EX-647 VIDEO N 4-Section Aluminum Tripod with 2-Way Pan/Tilt Head supports up to 7.7 lb and features a maximum height of 68" with the center column raised, and 57" with the column lowered. The tripod is lightweight at only 4 lb yet provides the height of most full-size tripods. Its compact design makes it ideal for travel, yet its height and payload allow it to be used across many other applications. A removable pan/tilt head with a pan bar allows you to make fairly smooth pan and tilt adjustments.
The tripod features quick-locking leg levers that allow you to adjust its height on the fly, and it offers a quick release camera mounting platform so you can easily remove your camera for handheld use. An integrated mid-level leg spreader ensures added stability while rubber feet let you operate on nearly all surfaces.
