Milled from solid aluminum, this backplate can be mounted in addition to the EK Water Blocks EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 water coolers for Founders Edition GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards . With its solid copper base, it significantly improves cooling in the area of the voltage regulator and contributes to cooling the PCB with well-placed thermal pads. The backplate is silver and gray and is mounted on the back of the graphics card.
In addition to the visual enhancement, the backplate offers greater stability for the graphics cardwith water cooler. This effectively prevents the PCB from bending as a result of one-sided tightening of the screws when fastening the main cooler and thus being permanently exposed to tension.
