A heating pad is used for local heating of individual parts of the body. It causes relaxation of smooth muscles and active hyperemia, due to which it has an analgesic, absorbable and trophic effect. A heating pad is used as a first aid for hypothermia. Influencing dry heat, it can help with chronic inflammatory processes, the consequences of injuries. Heat also has a beneficial effect on the nervous system. However, the use of a heating pad in acute inflammatory processes in the abdominal cavity (for example, acute appendicitis, acute cholecystitis), as well as in case of skin damage, bruises (on the first day) can cause complications. The use of a heating pad is not recommended for abdominal pain of unknown origin.
Instructions for use: Carefully fill the heating pad 2/3 with hot water (not boiling water!). While filling the heating pad, hold it by the neck in an upright position to avoid splashing water. Carefully release any remaining air, then screw the lid on firmly enough to check that it is sealed tight. After use, completely empty the heating pad and store in a cool, dry and dark place.
