Hanging rack cabinet
It will work perfectly when there is no place for a standing option or there is no need to use it. It allows you to securely attach to the wall, so it will not take up much space in the room. It is worth considering it when the number of devices will be small, and there are no plans to expand in the future. Before buying, you should pay attention to the maximum allowable debilability of the cabinet.

For 19" standard devices
One of the most important parameters of the cabinet is its mounting width. The width of 19 inches is the most popular standard for devices and rack cabinets , which will easily allow us to choose compatible equipment. This is an ideal solution if we do not have specific requirements regarding the size of the rack system, and we mainly care about a wide selection of devices for any application.

Compact size
When we do not need to configure large rack systems and do not plan their future expansion, such a rack cabinet may be ideal. With such a small size, it is usually used in smaller offices and home LANs or NAS systems.

The internal height of the rack cabinet is given in U-length units, used in the computer and electronics industries, which determine the height of modules and assemblies. The mounting height determines the number of slots that a given housing has. 1U is equal to the height of one slot.

Closed cabinet
They guarantee a higher level of safety than open structures. What's more, they allow you to control the air flow - however, it is necessary to properly plan the devices so that none of them block the flow. It should not be forgotten how much the dimensions of rack cabinets have an impact on the efficiency of the entire system. They should be adjusted to how much equipment we install, what power supply will be supplied to it, as well as what cooling system we want to opt for.
