The Intel Core i5-12400F processor is made in a hybrid architecture, consisting of two types of cores:
P-cores - high performance in single-threaded tasks, especially useful in games;
E-cores - dedicated to multi-threaded work so as not to be interrupted by secondary tasks.
Intel Thread Director technology is responsible for assigning tasks to the appropriate cores, prioritizing tasks and managing the processor load.
Support for powerful components
The new architecture is much more than just raw CPU performance. It is also possible to pair it with other, equally efficient components to optimally use the possibilities they offer.
The Intel Core i5-12400F processor can work even with the fastest operating memory - DDR5, and can use the bandwidth of the PCIe Gen5 interface.
The full capabilities of the processor can be achieved by placing it on a motherboard that supports the Thunderbolt 4 interface and is equipped with an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6/6E (Gig+) network card.
