As a Strix PC, the G16 is designed from the ground up to deliver breakthrough gaming performance. We engineered a cooling solution that provides the system with ample space for efficient airflow and allows for overclocking to maximize the system's potential. In Turbo mode, the G16 can reach a maximum system power of 230W, while when fully unlocked in Manual mode, the total system power is 250W.

The Strix G16 features up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 50 GPU, giving you incredible smoothness and visuals in all the games. With NVIDIA Max-Q technologies, including Advanced Optimus and Dynamic Boost, the graphics card can intelligently adjust between battery-saving and high-performance modes, delivering truly next-generation functionality and user experience.

Easy replacement of components
We've completely redesigned the Strix G16 for 2025 to make future component upgrades easier than ever. The tool-less design allows for easy access to both the RAM modules, SSD, and fans. We've also incorporated our Q-latch system into the SSD slots. Just like an experienced technician, you can remove and replace the SSD and RAM modules in seconds, getting your computer up and running again in seconds. A custom-designed frame encloses the rest of the motherboard, protecting other components. However, it can be easily removed with the removal of a few screws if you want to make further modifications.

ROG Intelligent Cooling System
We've completely redesigned the Strix G16 2025 Edition's cooling solution to give you the possible gaming experience—every time. We've moved all the vents to the back of the hinge, keeping warm air from reaching your mouse hand. The sides and bottom of the computer act as air intakes, providing natural and efficient airflow. Air also flows through the keyboard panel, keeping your hands cool during intense gaming sessions. The combination of a vapor chamber with a sandwich heatsink, Tri-Fan technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on the CPU and GPU allows the Strix G16 2025 Edition to achieve lower noise levels in Turbo mode than the previous generation, while delivering the same refined excellence you've come to expect from the Strix SCAR series.
