Why does Wheel-Bee use green LED light and no other? The human eye sees colors with a wavelength of around 400 nanometers (violet) up to 700 nanometers (red). This range from 400 to 700 nanometers is called the visible light or visible spectrum. The human eye can best perceive the middle range of the visible spectrum – around 555 nanometers. The eye is most sensitive in this area. This wavelength has green light. Green light is therefore the most visible color for us humans. That's why Wheel Bee uses the green light for more visibility and safety on the road.
