The supporting tread of the center line ensures traction on hard surfaces, while the countless working edges of the intermediate edges hold on to gravel or dirt. Two rows of outer cleats provide additional safety in curves and sidewall protection in loose or stony conditions.TCS Tires:TCS tires use the advantages of a UST tire and combine them with the low weight of a non - UST tire. A light carcass which is sealed with tire sealant keeps the rotating mass comfortably low, prevents breakdowns and the UST-compliant bead ensures a secure fit on the rim. Dual Compound DNA RubberDual DNA is the perfect blend of efficiency, traction and durability. The centerline tread has a firmer rubber compound, which is characterized by faster rolling and greater durability, while the side buttons are made of a softer, slower bounce rubber that improves control and grip.
Note: WTB has found that tires with tan wall sidewalls are not always ready for tube reading when they are first fitted due to possible production fluctuations. If you have problems getting the tire tight, we recommend using a sealant with larger particles to better seal pores in the sidewall. Suitable sealing milk is available, for example, from Notubes (Race Sealant) Orange Seal or Tire Yogurt.
