Babies will naturally look to mum for comfort. Taking inspiration from Mother Nature and our award-winning Closer to Nature teat, we’ve created a brand-new type of soother for the most natural soothing experience. Specially designed ripples in the teat flex and stretch to allow the soother to move just like mum’s breast.
The natural feel and flex of this breast-like soother, inspired by our award-winning Closer to Nature teat, provides a reassuring alternative to traditional dummies and pacifiers. Perfect if you’re worried that offering your baby a soother may disrupt breast or bottle feeding. When baby needs comfort, this soother offers a natural soothing experience.
Mother and Baby award best feeding product 2019
Made from super soft silicone, this soother feels, moves, flexes and stretches just like skin. So there’s less chance of confusion when feeding baby from breast or bottle.
Sucking is a natural reflex, which babies use to feed and comfort themselves. When mum’s breast isn’t available, the Tommee Tippee Breast-like soother is the next best thing for baby to latch onto in between feeds.
Sucking and dribbling can sometimes mean baby’s skin becomes irritated around the mouth. The Tommee Tippee Breast-like soother curves away from baby’s face and offers superior ventilation to increase airflow and prevent rashes.
Available in two colours and age stages, suitable for babies aged 0-6 months and 6-18 months
Just as babies will prefer one type of bottle teat to another, the same can be said for soothers. If your baby seems reluctant to accept a soother or struggles to keep it in their mouth here are a few things you can try:
· Trigger your baby’s suckling instinct by gently tapping the soother with your finger
· Feed your little one until they fall asleep and then replace the teat or nipple with the soother
