Penrose X high-end gaming headset - black / green

With the Penrose X, the hi-fi specialists at Audeze (pronounced: Odyssey) specifically target gamers with a top-class headset. There is not only a high-quality sound to experience, but also sophisticated technology. This includes the planar magnetic drivers , which offer a particularly precise and interference-free sound. In addition, there are the extremely flexible connection options: The Penrose X gaming headset can receive sound wirelessly via 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.0 and also analog via a 3.5 mm jack plug. And finally, the Mobius looks damn good too. The gaming headset is a must have for professional gamers, audiophiles and film fans.
The features of the Audeze Penrose X gaming headset:
High-end headset with connection via 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and 3.5 mm jack
50 millimeter neodymium magnet driver with planar magnetic membranes
Closed, ear-enclosing design
Sound pressure level: up to 140 dB, transmission range: 10 - 50,000 Hz
Up to 15 hours of battery life, charging time of three hours
Compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC, mobile devices
Maximum comfort and crystal clear sound: the Audeze Penrose X headset
The planar magnetic drivers developed by Audeze exclusively for the Penrose X ensure a very balanced sound image over the entire frequency range, are particularly precise and durable. The heights of this headset model are rich in detail and have a high resolution. Responsible for this are the planar magnetic drivers , which make a fine membrane vibrate in a magnetic field and ensure more precise and interference-free sound. Thanks to the closed design, the user is effectively shielded from ambient noise.
Freedom of connection and high ergonomics
The detachable and swiveling microphone is also of first class quality. An integrated noise gate ensures that even loud background noises are filtered out and only the voice of the recipient can be heard. The volume and mute switch are built into the left auricle for unhindered access, like all other control elements.

The Audeze Penrose X connects to a PC, console or mobile device via a 3.5 mm jack plug or wirelessly via a 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth 5.0on. This makes the headset compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S as well as PCs and mobile devices. The maximum range is about 50 meters. The battery is also built into the headset and lasts up to 15 hours until it has to be recharged via a USB Type-C cable.

From an ergonomic point of view, the Audeze Penrose X with its rotatable ear cups and padded headband offers a lot of flexibility and can be safely placed on the table or on the shoulders. The headband, like the ear cups, is made of memory foam and covered with soft synthetic leather.
