The Britax Römer Kidfix III M is to be installed by using the Isofiy anchor point in your vehicle. The child car seat can permanently remain in your car – even when your child is not sitting in it. Unlike its predecessor, the Kidfix II XP SICT, the new Kidfix III M provides much more comfort and free space for your little passenger. The seat surface is 10% longer and the front of the seat surface is much softer. Furthermore, the headrest has been widened by 12% and the backrest has gained 8% in width. The SecureGuard ensures optimum positioning of the lap belt. This also creates an additional fourth anchor point which protects your child’s sensitive abdominal area and reduces the forces in a frontal impact by up to 35%. The high, V-shaped backrest with built-in SICT technology provides optimum protection from head to hip. The side impact protection technology distributes and reduces the forces that occur in the event of a side impact. The black outer shell as well as the new cover have a much sportier appeal. The belt positioner of this new generation – featuring less red and more black – emphasises the sporty look of the Kidfix III M. The cover can be detached and machine washed easily so that it is ready to be used in no time at all.
